Hi there.
We’re SRC, an agile agency with a penchant for purpose-driven work.
We work with great people to create important, impactful, and innovative work. All of our projects are founded on 3 key ingredients: data-driven strategy, creative excellence, and actionable results.
How? We do it by working with the best. We curate a bespoke team for each client, with a roster of rockstars from Google, Facebook, Netflix, TED, Slack, IDEO, 72 and Sunny, R/GA, Anomaly, etc.
“Some of the very best media moments we were able to create were driven by Sandy Russell.”
Luc Vincent, VP Engineering at Lyft, Creator/Founder of Google Street View
Here’s what we’ve been up to lately.
Scam Spotter: Round 2
Google and Cybercrime Support Network asked for our help in creating meaningful and measurable impact in the fight against gift card scammers. We brought together the team to build a cultural impact PSA to help people understand just how sophisticated today’s scammers have become - with a little help from the most badass grandma on the planet.
FREE SOLO: Mapping Alex Honnold’s Climb
The directors of the documentary FREE SOLO needed an elegant, beautiful, 3D way to illustrate Alex Honnold’s infamous climbing route. We started by helping them determine the right technology to use, and then made the business and technical connections to implement within the Oscar winning film.
Patagonia: Defend Bears Ears
Patagonia sought to protect and preserve Bears Ears, Utah as it was under threat to lose its designation as a national monument. Sandy ideated and led Google’s involvement by collecting never before seen 3D imagery and Street View for a dynamic multimedia campaign to engage voters around the country.
Google: Dancing through Paris
As Google sought to reach a more urban, Gen Z, audience, we partnered with Street View to document renowned female hip hop dancers as they explore Paris’ busiest train station. A social first, influencer based approach led to our project reaching 81 million people across 6 continents.
Google: Documenting Record Breaking Blind Veterans
In honor of Veteran’s Day, we worked with Google Street View to concept, develop, and execute a large scale brand campaign by documenting 5 blind veterans as they kayaked through the Grand Canyon. The project yielded over 30 million engagements across social and traditional media, including an appearance on the TODAY show.
Google: Scam Spotter
Google asked us to partner with them to meaningfully help seniors by giving them the tools to avoid scams - a massive problem as the FTC reported $1.9B in losses in 2019 alone! We worked with the Cybercrime Support Network and our awesome friends Upperquad to build a mobile-first site that took a fresh approach on condensing all the advice out there. And, we brought it to life with an innovative, senior first design complete with fun, throwback illustrations.
Google: Pokémon April Fools
The predecessor to Pokemon Go was none other than a fun April Fool's in Google Maps. The game reached billions around the world, with Sandy serving as the global marketing lead to create a blogpost, proactive social-first campaign, viral video (40M views to date), and fun surprise directly in the app.
Google: Santa Tracker
We acted as assistant to the Elves for Santa Tracker to imbue the traditional cheer with educational elements, redesign the homepage, and launch new partnerships - leading to a 397% increase in time on site, 15M+ exposure to combined views of short films, and 200+ international articles.

What they’re saying.

What we do.
We equally love owning projects end to end, or rolling up our sleeves to jump in where needed.
Strategy.
This is the important part - the reason for being. Why are we doing this? Why does our audience care? What’s the most effective way to spend time - ours and our audiences? We geek out on the numbers and dive deep into the research to answer these questions and more.
Consumer Research and Landscape Analysis
Goal and OKR Setting
Brand Positioning and Messaging
Strategic Planning
Storytelling.
This is the fun part - what is this actually going to look like in the real world? This could be an award winning film, a cutting edge website, a simple podcast, the possibilities are endless - but they all start withe an engaging story, authentic characters, and excellent creative.
Creative Concepting and Development
Film and Photography
Web Design and Development
Social Storytelling
Sharing.
This is important and fun - if we’re going to spend time making something, let’s make sure we actually reach our audience. Baked in from the beginning with strategy, we now get to shine as we execute. Social first for urban Gen-Zers? Radio ads for seniors? We’re ready for any challenge.

How we work.
We believe in building the best team for the job - which means starting with the right people. We’ve decided that having an overworked, overextended staff unable to do what they do best isn’t good for anyone involved. Instead, we pull from a roster of the top folks across industries and locations. We bring together excellent creatives, strategists, analysts, developers - you name it - who are specifically chosen to bring their passion and expertise to each project.
And, because we’re remote, our roster of top folks is agnostic of industries and locations, with team members spread across the world with previous roles at Google, Facebook, Netflix, TED, 72 and Sunny, R/GA, Arts and Letters Creative, Anomaly, etc.
